heartland is an installation by the norwegian visual artist hilde flikke, composed by hundreds of small picture-bricks based on images collected in moscow.

branco performed in dialog with the installation on two openings of the exhibition (oslo/bergen).

working with the idea that heartland is a core of a territory, branco losses her memories while looking for new ones in a game of memory amongst the bricks.

​

the picture shows the last part of the performance where the artist takes the installation out of the gallery to encounter a new land on the streets.
